Statement of Publication Ethics
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE EDITORIAL BOARD
The Editor-in-chief is responsible for every text published in Studia Politica. Romanian Political Science Review. The Editorial board is responsible for maintaining and enforcing ethical policies, ensuring confidentiality in the review process, and demonstrating personal integrity. The Editorial board must meet the needs of readers and authors, improve the journal's quality, and uphold academic integrity. All editorial decisions are based on merit, with no regard to personal characteristics. The Editorial board avoids conflicts of interest and provides guidance to reviewers.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF AUTHORS
In adhering to publication ethics for Studia Politica. Romanian Political Science Review, authors must ensure the following:
Originality: The work must be original and written by the authors themselves.
Prior publication: The work has not been previously published and is submitted only to the journal.
Proper citation: Any material taken from other sources, including the authors' own published writing, must be clearly cited.
Rights infringement: The work does not infringe on any rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights.
Data integrity: The data presented is true and not manipulated, and the authors either own the data or have permission to use it.
Disclosure of conflicts of interest: Any actual or perceived conflicts of interest, including financial support, must be explicitly declared upon submission.
Research ethics: Adherence to all research ethics guidelines of their discipline.
Correction of errors: Authors must contact the editor to identify and correct any material errors discovered, whether before or after publication.
Accurate authorship representation: Authorship of the paper must be accurately represented, ensuring all credited authors participated in the actual authorship of the work and have given consent for publication.
PLAGIARISM
Studia Politica. Romanian Political Science Review rigorously checks all submissions for plagiarism and duplication (with Turnitin), publishing only original content. Manuscripts found to contain plagiarism or duplication are disqualified from consideration. Submissions must be previously unpublished and properly cite any original wording from other sources, including the author's own work.
Reviewers are encouraged to report any similarities between published or submitted content and the manuscript under review, or suspected plagiarism, to the Editor-in-Chief.
In cases of academic disputes or technical errors, the editors reserve the right to publish additional information in a subsequent issue's Discussions section.
